These days I only use my iPad and the app forScore for sheet music – which means it’s crucial that I backup that data every so often! In this video I show how you can go about doing that, using a Windows PC, a Mac computer (easiest) or just your iPad and portable hard drive/cloud storage (due to the size of my library I had some problems with this).
Remember the 3-2-1 rule of digital data – ideally you will have 3 copies in 2 different locations – so in this case to have your library on your iPad, PLUS backed up to something local (computer/hard drive) AND backed up to the cloud. This provides a fantastic level of redundancy.
